(There is more fiction below after this first Scholastic
Books listing.)
When I was in grade school, our teacher would occasionally hand out flyers
from Scholastic so that we could go home and beg our parents for money to
buy our very own books! I loved the Scholastic flyers, and pored over them
for days. ... My parents always let me buy a few and I still remember how
excited I was on the day they arrived. I loved the smell of the new books!
I loved the stories! ... For over a year now I have been buying these old
softcovers (mostly from the 60's and 70's) and setting them aside. There
are over 100 titles in the list below. All books are used, all have some
wear, some have lightly browning pages. But all are solid, in good condition,
and good reading copies.
